Hapoel Haifa's New Striker Willy Agada Arrives Soon After Visa Delay

Hapoel Haifa is set to welcome their new striker Willy Agada, who will join the team’s training ahead of the Israeli Premier League season. Agada, who finalized his contract with the club nine days ago, faced a delay in arrival due to visa processing issues. Originally expected to arrive earlier, he requested to postpone his landing by one day, now scheduled for early Thursday morning, a request approved by the club.

The team recently celebrated a 4-0 victory over Hapoel Be'er Sheva, securing fifth place in the Toto Cup. Hapoel Haifa’s season opener was postponed, delaying their first league match against Hapoel Be'er Sheva. Their first game will now take place in about a week and a half at Sammy Ofer Stadium against Hapoel Tel Aviv. The delay in the season start provides the club with an opportunity to integrate Agada into the squad and prepare him for competitive play. Additionally, the team anticipates the return of injured player Wahib Habiballah to fitness in time for the season start.
