Hapoel Jerusalem Signs Nigerian Winger Raymond Okon
Hapoel Jerusalem has officially signed Raymond Okon, an 18-year-old winger discovered at a talent tournament in Nigeria. Okon was scouted by the club's professional staff during a tournament held in Nigeria this past summer. He joins Hapoel Jerusalem alongside Hamza Mohammed, who was previously signed as a foreign reinforcement for the youth team.
While Mohammed will play for the youth squad, Okon will be integrated into the senior team's roster and participate in training sessions with them. The club described Okon as a dynamic winger with good technique and dribbling skills. He recorded an assist in a Toto Cup match against Ramat Gan.
