Top Rabbis Discharged from Hospital, Attend Religious Gatherings

Several prominent Hasidic rebbes have been discharged from the hospital and have resumed their religious duties. The Rebbe of Belz was released from Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital in Jerusalem after a successful treatment following a few days of hospitalization. Similarly, the Rebbe of Vizhnitz was released and returned to his lodging after feeling unwell and undergoing tests that came back normal. Both communities have requested continued prayers for their leaders' complete recovery.

In other news, the Rebbe of Amshinov held a special "Sheva Brachot" (seven blessings) celebration at his residence in Jerusalem. This event honored the marriage of the daughter of the Rebbe of Oflah, with the grandfathers of the groom, the Rebbes of Lelov and Modzitz, in attendance. Meanwhile, the Rebbe of Kretshnif Sighet led the "Slichot" (penitential prayers) service in Jerusalem, reciting the prayers with deep emotion in the synagogue founded by his father.

Hasidic followers of Tolded Aaron gathered in Jerusalem for the first "Slichot" prayers, with thousands attending. A particularly touching moment captured by cameras was the sight of young children standing around the Rebbe during the prayers. In Hebron, thousands of Dushinsky Hasidim joined their Rebbe for a fervent morning prayer service, followed by communal prayers for the welfare of the community and individuals.

In a significant political development, the "Agudat Yisrael" party is experiencing internal turmoil. A new party registration has sparked accusations of division, but a strong alliance between the Belz Hasidim and the Shlomi Emunim faction claims the move is a necessary step to reclaim the party from those who have "appropriated" it. This follows a heated meeting where Gur representatives reportedly demanded the removal of a Sanz representative from the Knesset list, calling it a "desecration" of a senior rabbinical council member.
