Hapoel Tel Aviv Owner Praises Fans, Looks Ahead to New Season

Hapoel Tel Aviv held a celebratory Rosh Hashanah gathering at Bloomfield Stadium, attended by players, staff, alumni, and business partners. Club owner Edmond Safra addressed the attendees via video call, expressing his excitement about the club's progress and the unwavering support of the fans. "I am very proud of our fans and their support for the club; it brings me joy and makes me miss you every time," Safra stated, adding that he is "excited to see the great work being done at the club."

Club CEO Guy Primor highlighted the challenges the team faced over the past year, emphasizing the goal to build Hapoel Tel Aviv into a community-oriented, competitive, and innovative club. He pledged a commitment to continuous improvement, stating, "Every morning we will wake up to make Hapoel Tel Aviv better."

Dave Lobzovsky, owner and CEO of IBI Investment House, shared his optimism for the upcoming season, noting that early results have made him, a longtime fan, "happy" and "a little optimistic." He also stressed the importance of the upcoming derby match, declaring, "The derby is above all."

Team captain Omri Altman spoke about building something new at the club, acknowledging that their current position exceeded expectations and that they have "broken many glass ceilings." He believes the team is on the right track. The women's team was also recognized, with player Shi Perl expressing determination for the upcoming season in the Premier League, stating, "We will give everything to go far."
