Hapoel Tel Aviv Owner Praises Fan Support at Rosh Hashanah Event

Hapoel Tel Aviv held a festive Rosh Hashanah gathering at Bloomfield Stadium on Wednesday, attended by players from both the men's and women's teams, coaching staff, club employees, former players, and business partners. Club owner Edmond Safra addressed the attendees via video call, expressing pride in the club's progress and the unwavering support of its fans.

"I am proud of our fans and their support for the club; it brings me joy and makes me miss you every time," Safra stated. He also acknowledged the "wonderful work" being done at the club and expressed hope for a future meeting. Club CEO Guy Primor highlighted the challenges faced over the past year and reiterated the commitment to building Hapoel Tel Aviv as a community-oriented, competitive, and innovative club, aiming for excellence with humility and passion.

Dave Lobatzky, owner and CEO of IBI Investment House, shared his optimism for the upcoming season, noting his happiness with the team's early performance, a sentiment he admitted was unusual for a long-time Hapoel fan. He emphasized the importance of the upcoming derby match, stating, "Derbies are above all else. Go Hapoel."

Team striker Omri Altman spoke about the club's ongoing transformation, noting that "no one expected us to be where we are today" and that they have "broken many glass ceilings" on their way to progress. Shi Perl, representing the women's team, expressed determination for their upcoming season in the Premier League, calling it a "privilege to be part of this community" and hoping to continue exciting and pleasing the fans.
