Tel Aviv Stock Exchange Ends Lower Amid Mixed Trading
The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange concluded trading on a slightly negative note, with its leading indices experiencing minor declines. The TA-35 Index closed down 0.06% at 4,273.7 points, while the TA-125 Index fell 0.24% to 4,179.05 points.
Energian was the top performer of the day, surging 9.01% to 3,510 agorot on a trading volume of approximately 35.01 million shekels. Strauss followed with a 2.74% increase to 11,620 agorot, trading at about 21.14 million shekels. Other notable gainers included Electra Real Estate, up 2.41%; Bazan, up 2.19%; and Tamar Petroleum, up 2.18%.
On the downside, Doral Energy led the decliners, dropping 6.58% to 5,662 agorot, with a significant trading volume of around 64.55 million shekels. Ormat Technologies also saw a sharp decrease of 5.82% to 30,610 agorot. RP Optical, Ampa, and Lapidoth Capital completed the list of major losers, with declines of 5.55%, 5.44%, and 5.29% respectively.
