After Injury, Lior Kasa to Report for Maccabi Haifa Preseason
Maccabi Haifa will begin preseason training next week, and one of the players expected to join is midfielder Lior Kasa, who has been sidelined since September. Kasa completed a long rehabilitation and has already returned to aerobic work, but this will be the first time since his injury that he resumes training with physical contact and a ball.
Haifa want to see that the midfielder has fully moved past the injury and is ready to play again, despite interest from other clubs. In the club’s defensive midfield, coach Barak Bakhar already has several options, including Yarin Levi, Peter Agba, Eitan Azoulay and Ali Mohamed.
Another player who will start the season with the team is Amit Arzi, who is expected to go out on loan. Arzi was a key player for Hapoel Kfar Saba last season, and he wants to play in the Premier League this year. Hapoel Kfar Saba, meanwhile, would like to keep him.
