Maccabi Haifa Loans Lior Kasa to Maccabi Petah Tikva After Injury Recovery

Lior Kasa, a 20-year-old player for Maccabi Haifa, has been loaned to Maccabi Petah Tikva for the upcoming season. Kasa recently returned to the field after missing an entire season due to a torn anterior cruciate ligament. He has completed his rehabilitation and is back to full training, aiming to gain playing time with Maccabi Petah Tikva.

Maccabi Haifa expressed their happiness regarding Kasa's return to play and wished him success. The club stated that Kasa is ready for full training and will now accumulate game minutes with his new team. Maccabi Petah Tikva's coach, Ziv Arie, was reportedly eager to sign Kasa, and the club will cover his full salary.

Kasa joined Maccabi Haifa in January 2024 from Hapoel Jerusalem for approximately one million euros. He was loaned to Genoa in the summer of 2024, where he played in Italy's top league. His development was significantly hindered by the knee injury he sustained in September 2023, shortly after a few appearances at the start of the previous season. He was expected to be a key part of Maccabi Haifa's squad last season, but the injury delayed his progress. Now, he will attempt to regain his form with Maccabi Petah Tikva.
