Haifa Man Arrested Again for Beach Indecency in Tel Aviv
Police in Tel Aviv arrested a 45-year-old Haifa resident on Tuesday, September 8, on suspicion of sexual harassment at Geula Beach. The man had been detained for a similar incident just three months prior but was released without charges, according to Ynet. While patrolling the Tel Aviv coastline, officers received a report of a man engaging in indecent acts toward a woman on the beach. Nearby police quickly apprehended the suspect, who was taken to the Lev Tel Aviv station for questioning and then placed in custody.
In June, the same individual was reportedly detained after entering a women's restroom at a beach, blocking a visitor's path, following her, and slapping her buttocks. While in a holding cell, he allegedly exposed himself and shouted obscenities. Despite these alleged actions, he was released after the June arrest, and no indictment has yet been filed, allowing him to return to the beach and allegedly harass women again.
