Repeat Offender Arrested for Sexual Assault on Tel Aviv Beach
A 45-year-old man from Haifa was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of committing indecent acts against a woman at Geula Beach in Tel Aviv. This is the second time in three months the suspect has been apprehended for a similar offense. Police stated that officers on patrol observed the suspect and took him into custody after receiving a report of the alleged assault. He was transferred to the Lev Tel Aviv station for questioning and subsequently detained. A court hearing is scheduled for Wednesday.
In the previous incident in June, the suspect allegedly entered women's restrooms at a beach, blocked a complainant's path, followed her, and slapped her buttocks. While in holding cells following that arrest, he reportedly exposed himself and made lewd remarks. Despite these allegations, he was released, and no indictment has been filed against him to date.
