Health Ministry Director Urges Israeli Doctors Abroad to Return
Director-General of the Ministry of Health, Moshe Bar Siman Tov, addressed the issue of Israeli doctors emigrating during a conference marking 30 years of the National Health Insurance Law. He acknowledged the problem, stating, "We are not ignoring this, we are monitoring it and acting on the matter." Bar Siman Tov explained that the ministry is working with hospitals to maintain contact with these physicians and assure them of opportunities to return to Israel. A dedicated task force has been established to address this specific issue.
