Beitar Jerusalem Owner Won't Interfere in Yarin Levi Transfer Talks

Following their first win of the season, a 1-0 victory over Bnei Sakhnin, Beitar Jerusalem is continuing efforts to sign a foreign midfielder, should negotiations for Yarin Levi from Maccabi Haifa fail. Owner Barak Abramov, who recently returned from abroad, expressed a desire to see Levi return to Beitar, similar to Almog Cohen. However, due to Abramov's good relationship with Maccabi Haifa chairman Yaakov Shahar, he stated he will not intervene as long as Maccabi Haifa does not release Levi or agree to negotiations.

In other team news, Yarden Cohen will not be available for the upcoming match against Maccabi Petah Tikva. Nana Antwi is reportedly feeling better and expected to be available for coach Almog Cohen. Timothy Muzie may continue to play left-back until Yarden Cohen can fully rejoin training.

Separately, striker Jonbozko Calo was involved in a concerning car accident in Jerusalem yesterday, colliding with a concrete wall. Fortunately, he was unharmed. Jerusalem police are investigating the circumstances of the self-inflicted accident, which marks the second documented car incident for Calo within a month. Beitar Jerusalem plans to thoroughly investigate the matter and is open to assisting Calo with additional driving lessons, even though he holds a license, if he requests such help.
