Beitar Jerusalem Owner Won't Interfere in Yarin Levi Transfer Talks

Beitar Jerusalem is pursuing a foreign midfielder as a backup plan should a deal for Maccabi Haifa's Yarin Levi fall through. Owner Barak Abramov, who recently returned from abroad, expressed a desire to see Levi return to Beitar, but will not interfere as long as Maccabi Haifa does not agree to negotiations or release the player. Abramov maintains a good relationship with Maccabi Haifa owner Yaakov Shahar.

In other team news, Yarden Cohen will not be available for the upcoming match against Maccabi Petah Tikva. Nana Antwi, however, is feeling better and is expected to be available for coach Almog Cohen. Timothy Muzo may continue to play left-back until Yarden Cohen is fully fit.

Separately, striker Günábosco Caló was involved in a concerning car accident in Jerusalem, colliding with a concrete wall. Fortunately, he was unharmed. Jerusalem police are investigating the circumstances of the self-inflicted accident, which is the second documented car incident for Caló in a month. Beitar Jerusalem plans to address the issue and may offer him additional driving lessons if he requests assistance, despite him holding a valid license.
