Following their recent elimination from European competition, Beitar Jerusalem has revised its transfer strategy, prioritizing the acquisition of a high-profile attacking midfielder. Previously targeting an additional foreign defender alongside Brian Kavali and Luka Gadrani, the club now plans to invest up to one million shekels (approximately 300,000 euros) in salary for this key midfield position through the end of the season. Owner Barak Abramov has expressed readiness to either purchase or loan a player with a strong track record, depending on the coaching staff's recommendations. Abramov reaffirmed his commitment to continue investing heavily as long as fan support remains strong, noting that over 20,000 season tickets have already been sold for the upcoming campaign.

In preparation for the Toto Cup qualification match against Hapoel Ramat Gan, coach Almog Cohen has opted for significant squad rotation due to the heavy workload players endured during the Conference League qualifiers. Key players including Jordan Shua, Boris Enow, Sean Weisman, Kavali, Yarden Cohen, and Nana Antwi will be rested or are recovering from minor injuries and thus will not be included in the squad.
