Man Killed, Woman Critically Wounded in Suspected Revenge Shooting in Kafr Qasim

A man in his 60s was shot dead and a woman in critical condition was evacuated after a shooting in Kafr Qasim on Thursday morning, June 18, 2026. Police said the preliminary suspicion is that the attack was revenge tied to an ongoing conflict.

The Central District Police opened an investigation into the circumstances of the shooting and sent large forces, along with forensic investigators, to the scene to collect evidence. Authorities also launched a wide manhunt for the shooters.

Medical responders pronounced the man dead at the scene. The woman, also in her 60s, received first aid at the site before being taken to a hospital in critical condition for further treatment.
