Israeli football club Bnei Sakhnin has parted ways with its second foreign player just three rounds into the new season. Angolan midfielder Norberto Carlos had his contract terminated by mutual agreement due to professional disappointment, according to Sport 5. This follows the earlier departure of Dimitri Kabara, who suffered a season-ending injury.
Carlos joined Sakhnin before the club's ownership changed to Khaled Duki. While initially signed before the ownership change, his performance did not meet expectations, and a subsequent injury further contributed to his release from the team's roster.
The club is now focusing on acquiring a right-back, despite Ahmed Salman performing well in that position, as they seek to bolster their offensive capabilities. Sakhnin is also aiming for their first win of the season when they face Hapoel Haifa on Monday.
