Noam Party Submits Knesset List, Leader Vows Independent Run

The Noam party, led by Member of Knesset Avi Maoz, has submitted its list of candidates to the Central Elections Committee for the upcoming 26th Knesset elections. Maoz heads the list, followed by Shimon Tubul, deputy mayor of Be'er Sheva and a representative of the Haredi public, in second place. Third on the list is Eliyahu Liebman, a retired lieutenant colonel and former head of the Kiryat Arba local council. Yascha Haimov, an entrepreneur and educator, is fourth, and education and social activist Liora Allon is fifth.

Following the submission, Maoz stated that the upcoming elections are about the state's essence and identity. He asserted that his party aims to offer a distinct approach in security and education, not based on conventional concepts. Maoz highlighted that the party's candidates represent the Haredi sector, the periphery, educational institutions, and local authorities.

Regarding potential alliances within the right-wing bloc, Maoz mentioned that his party had sought unity on the right and had approached the Prime Minister and other party leaders on the matter. He emphasized that his decades-long public service is not driven by personal ambition or a search for office.

Maoz concluded that Noam is running independently to maximize its influence and contribute to forming a right-wing government.
