Avi Maoz's Noam Party in Race to Form Alliances Before Election Deadline

With the Knesset election list submission deadline approaching, Avi Maoz's Noam party is pursuing a dual strategy: preparing for an independent run while actively engaging in intensive negotiations for political alliances on the right.

Sources indicate that Noam is in talks with various relevant parties, aiming to consolidate the right-wing bloc and prevent vote fragmentation. While significant breakthroughs have not yet been reported, discussions are ongoing with several groups. Among the parties reportedly in contact with Noam are Religious Zionism, Otzma Yehudit, and the Ach"i party. Notably, Ofer Winter is not currently participating in these negotiations, reportedly expressing no interest in political mergers at this stage, though his stance could change as the deadline nears.

Concurrently, Noam is bolstering its infrastructure for a potential solo campaign. The party is expanding its field operations, strengthening local branches, and developing a campaign strategy to appeal to a broader spectrum of right-wing voters, including secular, traditional, and disillusioned right-wing voters, beyond its traditional religious-nationalist base. The party's recent name change from "Noam" to "Noam LeYisrael" reflects this ambition for a wider political platform.

As the deadline looms, pressure mounts on smaller right-wing parties to unite. The primary concern within the camp is the risk of multiple separate lists failing to pass the electoral threshold, leading to a substantial loss of votes. Noam LeYisrael faces a critical decision in the coming days: either finalize alliance talks and join a broader union or proceed to the elections as an independent entity. Both options remain on the table.
