Noam Party Splits From Religious Zionism, Will Run Independently

The Noam party, led by Knesset Member Avi Maoz, has officially submitted its candidate list to the Central Elections Committee for the upcoming 26th Knesset elections. This move follows a directive from the party's spiritual leader, Rabbi Tzvi Yisrael Tau, who instructed them to run independently.

At the list submission event, Maoz emphasized the importance of the upcoming elections for the character of the state and its education system. "These elections are about the education and Jewish identity of the country in the coming years," Maoz stated. "Elections are not decided in studios or through deals. Elections are decided at the ballot box, and the people go to choose a path."

The party announced that its election campaign will focus on issues of Jewish identity, strengthening family values, combating progressive influences within state systems and the education system, and reinforcing Israel's Jewish character.
