Matan Adelson, son of billionaire Miriam Adelson and the late Sheldon Adelson, and owner of the Hapoel Jerusalem basketball team, married Yahav Haliva this past weekend in a grand ceremony held at Timna Park in southern Israel. The event was attended by hundreds of guests, many of whom traveled from abroad.

Miriam Adelson, the groom's mother, was a notable presence, dancing enthusiastically with the couple on her shoulders until the early morning hours. Her daughter and Matan's sister, Yasmine Lukatz, a businesswoman and star of "Shark Tank," shared details of the celebration on Instagram. She recounted a moment two years prior when she introduced Yahav to her mother as Matan's fiancée, even though they weren't yet engaged, hinting at Matan's intentions.

Lukatz described the deep and loving bond between Matan and Yahav, evidenced by their vows. She noted that approximately 200 international guests celebrated from Thursday until sunrise on Monday. The wedding's setting in the desert, along with Jerusalem and Herzliya, provided a picturesque backdrop for the weekend's festivities.

Lukatz also shared her mother's immense joy, stating Miriam Adelson was radiant and continued dancing late into the night while others rested. She expressed her own emotional reaction, shedding tears of happiness for the newlyweds and welcoming Yahav officially into the family. The celebration included toasts with Kiddush wine, which Lukatz humorously noted was considered a good omen.
