Israeli Basketball Associations to Receive Significant Funding Boost

The Israeli Basketball Association's board has unanimously approved a NIS 500,000 (approximately $135,000 USD) funding initiative proposed by its chairman, Amos Frishman. This sum will be distributed to basketball clubs across the country, with each club receiving direct credit based on the number of registered male and female players.

The distribution is expected to occur within the coming weeks and aims to provide financial relief and strengthen youth infrastructure within the clubs. The association stated that this move reflects a policy of transparency, fairness, and responsible financial management under Frishman's leadership.

Frishman commented that the initiative is a valuable step in returning resources directly to the clubs, particularly during a complex period, to ease their burden and support the growth of the next generation of Israeli basketball players. He expressed his commitment to continuing this management approach and providing clubs with more resources, thanking Yair Mizrahi for his work on the initiative and the board members for their approval.
