Basketball Association to Distribute Half a Million Shekels to Clubs

The Israel Basketball Association's management has unanimously approved a proposal by Chairman Amos Frishman to return approximately half a million shekels to basketball clubs nationwide. This initiative is presented as a demonstration of transparency, fairness, and sound financial management under Frishman's leadership.

Each club will receive a direct credit based on the number of registered players, both male and female. The financial distribution is expected to occur within the coming weeks, aiming to provide much-needed support and strengthen youth infrastructure across the country.

The association views this move as reflecting a philosophy where the benefits of responsible management are channeled back to the clubs, which are described as the primary engine of Israeli basketball. This is intended to set a new standard for mutual support during both normal times and emergencies.

Chairman Frishman stated, "This is a valuable and important step in returning resources directly to the clubs, with the aim of easing their burden and assisting them during this complex period. Responsible financial conduct is not just a management goal, but a tool that allows us to return resources to the field, where the next generation of Israeli basketball grows. My goal is to continue this management approach and provide clubs with as many tools and budgetary resources as possible.
