Israeli Basketball Associations to Receive Significant Funding Boost

The Israeli Basketball Association's board has unanimously approved a proposal by Chairman Amos Frishman to allocate approximately half a million shekels to basketball clubs across the country. This initiative aims to provide financial relief and strengthen youth infrastructure, reflecting a policy of transparency and responsible financial management.

Each club will receive direct credit based on the number of registered players, both male and female. The funds are expected to be disbursed within the coming weeks, offering much-needed support to the grassroots level of Israeli basketball.

Frishman stated that the move is a valuable step in returning resources directly to the clubs, particularly during a complex period. He emphasized that responsible financial management allows the association to reinvest in the development of future basketball talent. He also thanked Yaniv Mizrahi for his work on the initiative and the board members for their approval, wishing the Israeli basketball community a good year.

The association views this as a new standard for mutual support, applicable during both normal times and emergencies, highlighting the clubs as the central engine of Israeli basketball.
