Comedian Guy Hochman Hospitalized for MRI Scan Amid Cancer Scare
Israeli comedian Guy Hochman, who was diagnosed with cancer approximately three years ago, shared a concerning photo from Assuta Hospital on Tuesday. He explained in an Instagram post that he was undergoing an MRI scan, the first in two years, to check on his health.
Hochman reassured his followers that his cancer had not returned, but admitted he wasn't certain as he hadn't had an MRI in two years. He expressed hope that the cancer was still in remission and stated he would update them on the results, expected in about two weeks. He also wished himself strength to be as responsible for his own health as he is for his children's.
Hochman, who revealed his cancer diagnosis in the summer of 2023 and subsequently underwent surgery at Beilinson Hospital, has been open about his health journey. At the time of his diagnosis, he described the shock but emphasized his strength and the support of his loved ones.
Following his post, followers and colleagues offered messages of support and well wishes, calling him a "true fighter" and expressing hope for good results.
