Maccabi Tel Aviv's Roman Sorkin Delivers Spectacular Alley-Oop Dunk

In a pre-season basketball game, Maccabi Tel Aviv player Roman Sorkin executed a spectacular alley-oop dunk against Maccabi Rishon LeZion. The play occurred during the opening minutes of the game, with Sorkin receiving a pass from a teammate after a missed three-point attempt and slamming the ball through the hoop. During the dunk, Sorkin also posterized Rishon LeZion's Ron Zipper, a term used in basketball to describe dunking over a defender. Shortly after Sorkin's highlight reel play, teammate Jaron Blossomgame also scored an impressive fast-break dunk. This was one of Maccabi Tel Aviv's preparation games leading up to the new season. The team was nearly at full strength, featuring the debut appearances of Yam Madar and Daniel Theis, alongside other players participating for the first time this season, including Sorkin who started in the game.
