Businessman Richard Dekk has issued a statement refuting claims made by Shimon Mizrahi and Udi Recanati regarding the ongoing ownership dispute of the Maccabi Tel Aviv basketball club. Dekk stated that while a court rejected his request for an interim injunction on Sunday evening, this decision was procedural, maintaining the status quo pending arbitration. The court acknowledged that actions taken by Mizrahi and Recanati concerning club shares could be challenged in arbitration, a process Dekk has initiated.

Dekk further clarified that the court prohibited Mizrahi and Recanati from taking further corporate actions without prior notice, recognizing Dekk's right to seek an injunction if the current situation is violated. He specifically addressed an accusation that he concealed the court's decision in his previous statement, asserting that his statement was released hours before the court's ruling was published.

"The rest of the announcement is embarrassing to them and the club," Dekk declared, accusing Mizrahi and Recanati of publishing a misleading statement.
