Two IDF Soldiers Injured in Hezbollah Clash in Southern Lebanon

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Tuesday that two soldiers sustained minor injuries during a clash with a Hezbollah operative in the Boufor area of southern Lebanon. According to the military spokesperson, the operative opened fire on the soldiers, who returned fire and neutralized him. The injured soldiers were evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment, and their families were notified.

Following the incident, the IDF stated it shelled a building where the operative had been located, as well as Hezbollah weapons depots and infrastructure in the area.

In a separate event, the IDF reported that Hezbollah launched two explosive-laden drones toward Israeli forces in the Jabal Ali Al-Taher area of southern Lebanon overnight. No injuries were reported from this attack, and the IDF responded by striking Hezbollah infrastructure.

The military also reported targeting several militants observed transporting weapons in the town of Rmeish in southern Lebanon.
