Hapoel Be'er Sheva Assembles Deepest Squad in Club History

Hapoel Be'er Sheva has concluded a busy and expensive transfer window, assembling what is described as the deepest squad in the club's history. The team aimed to strengthen every position, and now boasts at least two senior players for nearly every role, with the exception of right-back where Guy Mizerahi is the only natural option.

Key additions include goalkeeper Marko Wolf, joining Ofir Marciano. In defense, Idan Nachmias was brought back from abroad to bolster the center, while Pedro Amador replaces the veteran Helder Lopes at left-back. Amankwah joins a midfield that includes Niv Yehoshua and the expensive signing Joao Victor, who has been sidelined by injury. Manager Ran Kozuch now faces the challenge of managing a deep and talented squad, which will likely lead to positive selection dilemmas. However, the club is expected to trim the squad in the coming week, with Roy Levi and Yoni Stoyanov reportedly not in the coach's plans.

Several players were left out of the squad for an upcoming match, including the injured Igor Zlatanovic, Ofir Davidzada, Hamudi Kanaan, and Mohamed Abu Rumi, highlighting the intense competition for places.
