Hapoel Be'er Sheva Assembles Deepest Squad in Club History

Hapoel Be'er Sheva has concluded a busy and expensive transfer window, assembling what is described as the deepest squad in the club's history. Despite the Israeli transfer window closing on September 16th, the team expedited its plans due to European competition commitments. The club has reportedly secured two senior players for nearly every position, with the exception of right-back where Guy Mizerahi is the only natural fit.

Key additions include goalkeeper Marko Wolf, joining compatriot Ofir Marciano. In defense, Idan Nachmias returns to Israel from Ludogorets to bolster the center-back position after the desired foreign player did not materialize. The team also acquired Itay Rotman and Pedro Amador for the defense.

The departure of a foreign player opened up a spot for a high-level striker, leading to the acquisition of Adrian Grbic from Kiryat Shmona for a reported €1 million. The club anticipates trimming the squad in the coming week, with Roy Levi and Yoni Stoyanov reportedly among those not in the coach's plans.
