Police Seize Over NIS 800,000 and Gold Coins in Rahat Raid
Police and Border Police forces searched the homes of three suspects in Rahat as part of Operation "Iron Net." During the raid, officers seized more than NIS 800,000 in cash, about $2,500 in cash, and gold coins.
The three suspects were taken in for questioning at Lahav 433, Israel's national fraud investigation unit. They are suspected of income tax offenses, violating cash-handling laws, and money laundering.
The operation targeted the suspects' residences in Rahat, and the investigation is continuing under the national fraud unit.
