IDF Eliminates Attacker After Stabbing in West Bank
On Monday morning, September 7, 2026, an Israeli civilian was stabbed on the Ma'oz Yehuda farm near Kusra in Judea and Samaria, the IDF reported. The attacker arrived by car, asked the victim if he was armed, then stabbed the young man and fled in a white van. The victim, conscious, was evacuated to Beilinson Medical Center in Petah Tikva.
An IDF search operation involving the Duvdevan unit, the Nahal Brigade, and Combat Intelligence Collection Corps Unit 636 was launched. The forces surrounded nearby villages. According to the IDF spokesperson, the attacker's identity was established when his phone fell from his pocket during his escape. Soldiers located the suspect near his vehicle in the Qabalan area.
When the suspect attempted to attack soldiers with a knife, an IDF commander opened fire, killing him. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz have instructed the army to prepare for a large-scale operation against terrorist infrastructure in Judea and Samaria. Head of the Samaria Regional Council Yossi Dagan called for road closures and the destruction of infrastructure supporting terrorists.
