IDF Soldiers Kill Palestinian Attacker in West Bank
The Israeli military announced that soldiers neutralized the Palestinian assailant who carried out a stabbing attack earlier on Thursday in the West Bank. The attack occurred near the Palestinian village of Ozarin, within the Samaria Brigade's area of operation, where the attacker, armed with a knife, stabbed an Israeli civilian before fleeing the scene.
Following the incident, extensive IDF forces launched a manhunt, establishing roadblocks throughout the region to apprehend the suspect. The military reported that an IDF unit located the attacker near his vehicle in the area of the village of Idna.
According to the IDF, the assailant attempted to stab the soldiers. In response, a company commander from the 411th Battalion opened fire, killing the attacker. The IDF stated its forces will continue to operate to thwart terrorism and maintain security in the Judea and Samaria region.
