Israeli Soldiers Kill Palestinian Attacker After West Bank Stabbing
The Israeli military confirmed that soldiers neutralized a Palestinian assailant who had stabbed an Israeli civilian in the West Bank. The attack occurred near the village of Uziin in the Samaria region. Following the stabbing, the attacker fled the scene, prompting a large-scale search operation by IDF forces, which included establishing roadblocks throughout the area.
IDF soldiers located the suspect near his vehicle in the Idna area. According to the military, the assailant then attempted to stab the soldiers. A company commander from the 411th Battalion responded by firing at the attacker, killing him.
The military stated, "IDF forces will continue to operate to thwart terrorism and maintain security in the Judea and Samaria region." The IDF did not immediately release the identity of the victim or the attacker.
