National Accord Committee Head Urges Arab Party to Boycott Elections

Mohammad Ali Taha, head of the National Accord Committee, has sent a letter to Rula Daoud, head of the "Baladna Makan" (We All Have a Place) party, urging her and her party members not to participate in the upcoming October elections. Taha expressed respect for the party's Arab-Jewish activism against the occupation and the current right-wing government, stating it offers hope to the people of the land.

In his message, Taha conveyed his belief that the party's commitment to the future of their peoples and descendants necessitates a decision to abstain from the elections. He suggested that boycotting the vote would be a significant and historic step, allowing them to focus efforts on toppling the current right-wing government and replacing it with a "less bad" alternative.

The letter, dated September 7, 2026, was sent to Daoud and the party's members, concluding with well wishes for their success. The "Baladna Makan" party is known for its youth activism.
