National Accord Committee Urges Arab Lists to Sign Ethics Charter
The National Accord Committee has called on the two competing Arab political lists, the Tripartite Joint List and the Unified List, to sign an electoral code of honor. The committee believes that increased participation, responsible competition, preventing vote wastage, and a minimum level of coordination can significantly bolster the Arab community's political power and counter the influence of extremist right-wing forces. The committee announced it is finalizing the ethics charter and has secured preliminary approval from both lists for the surplus vote agreement, pending official list submissions.
