Radical Arab Movement Calls to Boycott Israeli Knesset Elections and Opposes Arab Parties' Government Participation

The radical Arab movement "Bnei Al-Kafr" has issued a strong statement urging a boycott of the upcoming Israeli Knesset elections. The movement condemned the participation of Arab parties in Israeli governments and their continued representation in the Knesset, arguing that such involvement undermines Palestinian national principles and accelerates processes of "Israelization." Published on the Al-Jarmak website, the statement criticized external support for the Israeli government without a clear Palestinian national plan, labeling it a deviation from national consensus.

Bnei Al-Kafr also expressed outright opposition to both civilian and national service programs, calling for renewed election boycotts as a key tool in resisting Israelization. The movement urged Arab parties to avoid political cooperation with the Ra'am party and to coordinate efforts against national and military service initiatives, which they claim promote Israelization. The statement emphasized that the Palestinian struggle within Israel is a fight for survival on their land and the preservation of national identity.

Founded in the early 1970s in Umm al-Fahm, Bnei Al-Kafr defines itself as a Palestinian national movement advocating for a secular democratic state across all of historic Palestine. In 2004, several senior activists were arrested on suspicion of directing Fatah operatives in Jenin to assemble explosives and rockets, allegedly under Hezbollah agent orders. During both the First Intifada and the Al-Aqsa Intifada, additional activists were detained for offenses including incitement, public disorder, raising Palestinian flags, and anti-state activities.
