IDF Forces Respond to Friction Between Palestinians and Israelis in West Bank Village
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that its forces were dispatched to the village of Hajja, in the Ephraim Brigade area, on Sunday evening following a report of friction between Palestinians and Israeli civilians who had entered the village.
Upon arrival, IDF troops worked to disperse the confrontation and escort the Israeli civilians out of the village.
Subsequently, a violent disturbance erupted, during which Palestinian rioters threw stones at the forces. The IDF soldiers implemented a suspect arrest procedure, which included firing into the air and then firing at key instigators. Hits were identified.
The incident is currently under investigation.
