Teenager Emma Ziza Cohen Wins Israeli 'The Voice' Competition
Seventeen-year-old Emma Ziza Cohen, a contestant mentored by Israeli singer Noa Kirel, has won the 2026 season of the musical competition show "The Voice."
In the final, which took place on the evening of September 6, Cohen performed the song "Girl on Fire," securing her victory. She competed against fellow finalists Osher Cohen (mentored by Eden Ben Zaken), Renana Hovav (mentored by Idan Raichel), and Tamir Sari (mentored by Static).
All finalists performed both solo numbers and duets with their respective mentors. Cohen's win was attributed to audience votes, as she ranked third based on the mentors' initial scoring.
According to Ynet correspondent Ran Boker, "The Voice" returned to television screens after a seven-year hiatus with a revamped lineup of mentors. Despite the break and changes, the show reportedly failed to meet expectations, garnering disappointing ratings and raising questions about its future.
