Reality Star Gal Gvaram Defends Herself Against Body Shaming Online

Reality television personality Gal Gvaram, 25, has responded forcefully to online criticism after posting a photo of herself in a yellow bikini while brushing her teeth on a beach late at night. The image, shared on her Instagram account, sparked a wave of intrusive comments about her body.

Gvaram addressed the backlash on Sunday, posting a statement alongside the same photograph. She expressed frustration with societal double standards, questioning why she is labeled "cheap and provocative" when she feels confident, yet faces scrutiny over her appearance. She revealed a past struggle where she weighed only 40 kilograms (approximately 88 pounds), stating that critics always find fault, whether she is dangerously thin or at a healthy weight.

"I will not go back to 40 kg," Gvaram declared. "If I want to eat something, I will eat it, and all your opinions can stay with you. I will stay with my eating disorders." She indicated that she would rather manage her own struggles than succumb to external judgment.

This defiant stance comes after a period of personal recovery for Gvaram. She had previously stepped away from the spotlight to address complex mental health challenges. Recently, she appeared to be rebuilding her life, sharing idyllic updates from an extended vacation in Thailand.

During her Thailand trip, Gvaram also experienced a frightening incident where she was attacked and bitten by a stray dog at night. The attack left her with a deep leg wound, requiring medical attention at a local hospital.
