Shelly Serebryanikov Defends Herself Against Body-Shaming Criticism on Social Media

Shelly Serebryanikov, a former contestant on the Israeli reality show "Big Brother," has responded to harsh online criticism about her appearance and weight after videos of her in a swimsuit circulated on social media. The clips, taken during a weekend outing, sparked negative comments targeting her body. Several Israeli celebrities, including Daniel Amit, Daniel Greenberg, Likush Menachem, and Shelly Sandrov, publicly supported her.

In a video posted to her Instagram account on Saturday, Serebryanikov addressed the backlash directly. She explained that she had gained 10 kilograms over three months, which changed her body shape, but emphasized her self-acceptance. She shared that she once weighed 90 kilograms before losing nearly 30 kilograms to reach around 60 kilograms, and that she has always loved herself regardless of her size.

Serebryanikov also stated she would continue to wear swimsuits freely, embracing her body with all its features, including cellulite and stretch marks. She said, "I love every part of my body. I don't care if people post pictures of me in a swimsuit or laugh at me, I love myself."

Her message highlights body positivity and self-love in the face of public scrutiny and social media judgment.
