Israeli Teen Roy Revivo Set for Elche Debut Against Real Sociedad

Israeli defender Roy Revivo is expected to be included in the squad for Elche's upcoming match against Real Sociedad on Monday, potentially marking his debut for the Spanish club. Revivo, who joined Elche on the final day of the transfer window, could make his first appearance for the team.

Elche currently sits with one point from three games, while Real Sociedad has four points from four matches. Elche's coach, Martin Anselmi, expressed satisfaction with the team's recent signings, stating, "We signed players who are hungry and ready to fight for this shirt." He emphasized the team's defensive strategy, noting, "We will defend as a team. If we focus on one player from Real Sociedad, we will leave our defense exposed."

Anselmi also reflected on the tense final hours of the transfer window, saying, "We went through tense hours at the end of the transfer window. We don't know everything that happened behind the scenes, but we worked until the end." The team will be without winger Yago Santiago for the match. In previous games, left winger Javi Guerra started in a converted role at left-back due to a shortage of players in that position.
