Naftali Bennett Unveils United Knesset List with Yair Lapid in Second Place

Just two days before the deadline for Knesset lists, Naftali Bennett's "Achva" party unveiled its unified slate at a significant event in Tel Aviv.

Bennett heads the list, with "Yesh Atid" chairman Yair Lapid placed second. The top five are rounded out by Keren Turner in third, Merav Ben Ari in fourth, and Liran Avishar Ben Horin in fifth. Retired Major General Noam Tibon is sixth, followed by Michal Hirsch Negri, Eitan Ginzburg, Merav Cohen, and Yonatan Shalev.

Bennett stated that the list was formed without "celebrities," emphasizing its focus on "performers." He outlined key policy proposals, including establishing a state commission of inquiry into the October 7th massacre immediately after the government is sworn in, enlisting Haredim into the army, declaring Qatar a hostile state, and limiting the prime minister's term to eight years. "The government of October 7th destroyed, and the government of October 27th will fix," Bennett declared.

Lapid fully endorsed the union, calling Bennett the most suitable candidate for prime minister. He described the list as a "government in practice" with proven experience, stressing the nation's urgent need for repair and a return to sanity.

The full list of thirty-five candidates alternates between Bennett's and Lapid's associates, aiming to generate new momentum, counteract a decline in polls since their alliance, and embark on a new path towards election day.
