Beni Gantz and Yair Lapid Unveil Joint Knesset List
Naftali Bennett, leader of the "Achva" party, and Yair Lapid, chairman of "Yesh Atid," officially announced their joint Knesset list on Sunday, August 28, 2026. The list, formed using a "zipper" system alternating candidates from each party, features prominent figures from both Bennett's and Lapid's original slates.
Following Bennett's placement at number one and Lapid at number two, former Director-General of the Treasury and Transportation Ministries, Keren Turner, is listed third. Turner was originally slated for second place on Bennett's party list.
MK Merav Ben Ari, who currently serves as the coordinator for opposition factions in the Knesset and was second on Lapid's list, is placed fourth. Rounding out the top five is Liran Avishar Ben Horin, former Director-General of the Ministry of Communications.
Former Major General Noam Tibon, retired commander of the Northern Corps and former commander of Sayeret Matkal and the Nahal Brigade, is listed sixth. The full list includes 20 candidates, with other notable names such as Michal Hirsch Negri, Eitan Ginzburg, Merav Cohen, and Ram Ben Barak.
