Rabbi Shalom Rokeach, the eldest grandson of the Belz Hasidic dynasty's Grand Rebbe, has announced a surprising decision for the upcoming Rosh Hashanah holiday. Due to severe space limitations, thousands of young students will hold their prayers separately.
The Grand Rebbe himself will join the students for the morning (Shacharit) prayers in the 'Groyse Shtub' (Great Study Hall). This announcement comes as the community is also praying for the recovery of the Grand Rebbe, who was hospitalized earlier today.
