Lebanese President Urges US Intervention to Halt Israeli Strikes
Lebanese President Michel Aoun has called on the United States and the international community to intervene and help stop Israeli strikes on Lebanese territory. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated that the airstrikes in southern Lebanon were a response to a drone attack carried out by Hezbollah. According to the IDF, the targets were members of the terrorist group and its infrastructure.
