Kindergarten Closed After Three Intrusions by Woman in Four Days

Classes at the Sinai Kindergarten in Rosh HaAyin were suspended after a woman gained unauthorized access to the facility three times within a four-day period. The woman, described as mentally disturbed, was discovered inside the premises on two separate mornings by staff. On the first occasion, police were called to escort her out, and the staff spent time cleaning and tidying the space before children could enter.

The second intrusion occurred overnight between Thursday and Friday. On Friday morning, she was found inside again, leaving behind disorder and cigarette butts. Following this incident, classes were canceled for the day. Parents hoped the issue was resolved, but it was discovered on Saturday that the woman had entered the kindergarten a third time.

As a result of the repeated security breaches, classes were also canceled for Sunday. Parents are demanding immediate security measures from the municipality to fortify the building, including installing bars and securing entry points. They expressed serious concern about what could have happened if the intrusions had occurred while children were present.

The kindergarten administration is urging parents to contact the Rosh HaAyin mayor to demand swift action. The parents view this not as an isolated incident but as a continuous security lapse, insisting on a resolution before the children return to the kindergarten.
