Vandals Deface School in Pardes Hanna with Swastikas
Unknown individuals broke into the "Shvilim" school in Pardes Hanna over the weekend, vandalizing classrooms and spray-painting swastikas on the walls and windows of the art room. The incident came to light on Sunday, September 6.
Police from the Zichron Yaakov station in the Menashe region have launched an investigation and collected evidence from the scene. No arrests have been made yet, and authorities are exploring various leads.
The Pardes Hanna Municipal Council issued a statement condemning the act, saying, "We take any manifestation of racism, hatred, and violence extremely seriously, especially the use of Nazi symbols." The council added that the school principal filed a complaint immediately after the vandalism was discovered, and the school is cooperating fully with the police investigation.
Police emphasized that break-ins at educational institutions, vandalism, and property damage are treated with particular seriousness, especially when offensive symbols are involved. The police pledged to "act with all determination to identify those involved and bring them to justice."
