Swastikas Found in Israeli Classroom After Vandalism Incident

The art classroom at the Shvilim school in Pardes Hanna-Karkur was vandalized overnight Sunday into Monday. Swastikas were spray-painted on the walls and furniture, with significant damage reported in the room. School administration has filed a complaint with the Zichron Yaakov police station. Police visited the scene, collected evidence, and launched an investigation to identify those responsible for the vandalism. At this stage, neither the perpetrators' identities nor their motives are known.

The Pardes Hanna-Karkur local council strongly condemned the incident, calling it a "grave" act and emphasizing that Nazi symbols have no place in a school. The municipality pledged full cooperation with investigators. In a statement, the council said, "We take very seriously any expression of racism, hatred, and violence, particularly the use of Nazi symbols." Local authorities added they would continue working to ensure a safe and respectful school environment, asserting that no manifestation of hatred or violence would be tolerated.
