Swastika Spray-Painted at Vandalized School in Pardes Hanna

Police in Zichron Yaakov have launched an investigation into a severe vandalism incident at a school in Pardes Hanna, a town in the Menashe region. The perpetrators broke into the educational institution, causing property damage and spray-painting symbols, including a swastika.

Officers arrived at the scene, collected evidence, and initiated investigative actions to identify and apprehend the suspects. The Israel Police stated they "view with great severity incidents of breaking and entering, vandalism, and desecration of educational institutions, particularly the use of offensive symbols," vowing to "act with determination to locate those involved and bring them to justice."

The investigation is ongoing. Meir Uliel, a Haredi media figure residing in Pardes Hanna, expressed shock and dismay to B'Chadrei Chareidim, describing the incident as a "stab in the heart" for Jewish residents. He emphasized Pardes Hanna-Karkur as a place of unity and brotherhood, noting the recent inauguration of a new synagogue nearby. Residents are demanding action from the local council and police to prevent future occurrences.
