Prosecution Seeks Harsher Sentence for Ashkelon Man Convicted of Sex Offense Against Minor
The State Prosecutor's Office has appealed to the Beersheba District Court seeking a harsher sentence for Moshe Sendrosi, a roughly 60-year-old Ashkelon resident convicted of a sex offense against a 13-and-a-half-year-old girl. Sendrosi was initially sentenced to nine months of community service.
In its appeal, the prosecution argued that Sendrosi committed the acts while violating fundamental trust, citing the age difference and his exploitation of the minor's innocence and her familiarity with him and his daughters. The prosecution also stated that the acts significantly harmed the victim's safety, bodily integrity, dignity, and health.
The prosecution contends that the sentence imposed does not reflect the severity of the offenses and requests a substantial increase in punishment.
